Thank you wordpress. ILet me explain, I am in the middle of recovering a corrupted database in a wordpress site of mine.
 I messed up adn deleted the password for admin login. And my email is dead.
But thankfully I found this solution in the codex for being able to change password from myphpadmin.

The akismet pluggin has proven to been great. It actually comes in the wordpress install. I understand why. Its great.
It took all of 2 minutes to get it up and running, and thats because I did not have a wordpress API. And had to create an account over at wordpress.com to get it.

I have a reasonable new blog (yes you guessed it, its a word press install) over at http://www.a-ing.com/. It is a web review site. It is a site that has been reconverted from a domain I bought about a month ago. The site gets about 60 visitors a day.
