The akismet pluggin has proven to been great. It actually comes in the wordpress install. I understand why. Its great.
It took all of 2 minutes to get it up and running, and thats because I did not have a wordpress API. And had to create an account over at wordpress.com to get it.

I have a reasonable new blog (yes you guessed it, its a word press install) over at http://www.a-ing.com/. It is a web review site. It is a site that has been reconverted from a domain I bought about a month ago. The site gets about 60 visitors a day.
And I am getting this spam attack:

To be honest I am not exactly sure why I got the domain name, but I have been using WP for about 6 months now, and I like it. I really like it.
I have used it with a couple of clients, and it is effective and efficient.
